We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children with special needs and medical complexity.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and administer nursing care in the medical practices for children with special needs and medical complexity.
- Provide clinical care and oversight for medical services, including patient and family education, vaccine administration, point of care testing, and patient triage.
- Collaborate with internal and external care providers to ensure continuum of care is delivered within a patient and family-centered, team-based model.
- Implement appropriate and individualized patient and family education within time frames defined by hospital and departmental policy.
- Perform and document nursing care according to hospital and departmental policy.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
- NJ Registered Nurse License.
- AHA BLS Provider Certification.
- Preferred: BSN degree, experience with medical technology and medically complex children.
