Job Title: Senior Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to lead our product development team in creating innovative solutions for our clients in the Financial Services, Public Sector, Nonprofits, and Healthcare industries.

Job Summary:

The Senior Product Owner will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements, and communicating the product vision to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements, and communicate the product vision to the team
  • Lead the product development team through all stages of product development, from planning and refinement to reviewing and approving products for release
  • Develop and adapt product vision, write new user stories, and accept completed stories
  • Recommend improvements for processes, products, and services
  • Operate with broad autonomy in a complex Agile environment, collaborating with the Scrum Master to drive sprint and release plans
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as retrospectives, to consistently enhance team processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Ten plus (10+) years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced expertise in functional area concepts and principles, with a deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and Product Management disciplines
  • Ability to apply risk management principles and contribute to risk management assessments
  • Capability to translate high-level requirements into actionable stories and outcomes
  • Familiarity with department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and System operations, policies, procedures, and technologies
  • Negotiation abilities and excellent customer service, adept at presenting information effectively to diverse teams
  • US Citizenship required

  • Product Management Certification
