About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineering Technician to join our R&D team at Hallmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing first-to-industry equipment at our Supply Chain facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install equipment, including machining parts, welding, coating, and painting.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and receiving facilities from concept development through hand-off and every step in between.
  • Work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings to diagnose machine issues and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills in areas such as motor controls, PLCs, and CAD software.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of technician experience.
  • Demonstrated skill in interpreting machine, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings.
  • Demonstrated experience with motor controls and PLCs.
  • Demonstrated skill operating mills, lathes, saws, drills, grinders, welders, brakes, punches, shears, heat-treating equipment, paint sprayers, and bead blasters.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized or vocational coursework.
  • 2-year college certificate in engineering.
  • Completion of a certified technical program and 4 years' experience as a technician OR 8 years of experience as a technician or equivalent.
