Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a travel Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Develop and process radiographs, including adjusting exposure settings and selecting appropriate film
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and imaging results
Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent hospital experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
- Current certification in radiologic technology
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Benefits:
- Competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
