Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team of arborists and ensuring the successful completion of daily production requirements. You'll work closely with our General Foreman to achieve maximum results in operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of arborists to achieve daily production requirements
  • Provide accurate payroll and revenue information to the General Foreman
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and daily work requirements
  • Support and guide Crew Leaders in achieving maximum results
  • Oversee OSHA and ANSI Standards, as well as company safety and personnel policies
  • Assist with equipment repairs and scheduling of Preventive Maintenance
  • Participate in the bidding of work and obtain necessary permissions for crews to begin work
  • Communicate daily with the General Foreman on crew activity, equipment problems, and safety issues
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Crew Leader or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the general public, customers, and fellow employees
  • Must have met all qualifications of a Crew Leader
  • Must be well-groomed and professionally dressed
  • Must be willing to travel, including overnight stays
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications as required by the job
  • Ability to read maps and be physically able to walk utility lines
  • Valid driver's license, CDL, and/or medical certificate required for the vehicle being operated
  • Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR cards
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and job duty skills tests
