Dr. Martens is looking for part-time Sales Assistants to join their team at the York Outlet store during the upcoming festive season.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Dr. Martens and be able to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customers have a memorable shopping experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales and meeting sales targets to help the store achieve its overall sales goal during this fast-paced and busy sales period.
  • Infusing your unique personality into the customer experience and creating an outstanding shopping experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
  • Efficiently handling transactions at the till in accordance with operating procedures.
  • FOLLOWING OPERATING PROCEDURES, such as handling deliveries and ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Show empathy, work well within a team, and provide support as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment, preferably within a fashion/footwear/lifestyle brand.
  • Ability to harness resilience and work under pressure, as our stores get busy and lots of customers need your attention.
  • A strong grasp of customer service and ability to connect with different customers.
  • Flexibility in availability is essential - shifts may vary week to week, and we will need your flexibility to cover different days and times during this busy period.
