The Facility Operations Supervisor will oversee the maintenance and daily functionality of the fulfillment center. This role entails conducting preventative maintenance and inspections of the facility and its equipment.
The Facility Operations Supervisor must be proactive and driven, eager to comprehend and master all aspects of the position, while being reliable and accountable for their responsibilities.
As the Facility Operations Supervisor, you will be tasked with managing all aspects of installation, repair, and maintenance of the facility.Your responsibilities will include ensuring machinery upkeep, planning repair initiatives, and developing maintenance protocols, alongside executing building maintenance tasks across various domains (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and security, etc.).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Providing leadership and organization for daily maintenance operations
- Executing repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance tasks as required
- Coordinating with external service providers for maintenance and repairs
- Establishing and managing effective standards and procedures for in-house operation and maintenance of heating, air handling, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, fire safety, and security within the Fulfillment Center
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on equipment as necessary
- Adhering to all relevant safety protocols
- Collaborating with other departments to implement facility and equipment modifications and other projects as needed
- Supervising and directing all maintenance processes and operations
- Ensuring all equipment (excluding Highjump Hardware) is maintained to operational standards
- Creating and implementing maintenance procedures
- Possessing knowledge of potential online (SaaS) maintenance systems
- Conducting regular facility inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Planning and managing all repair and installation tasks
- Assigning repair schedules and assessing repair cost estimates
- Managing relationships with contractors and service providers
- Monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders as necessary
- Overseeing electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure operational efficiency
- Planning and supervising all repair and installation activities
- Managing equipment stock (excluding Highjump hardware) and ordering new supplies as needed
- Experience with air compressor inspections
- Conducting safety assessments
- Dock door and leveler maintenance
- Fire pump and extinguisher inspections
- Monthly cleaning of conveyor systems and facilities
- Facility project management
- Replacing HVAC filters
- Facility lighting maintenance
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance operations
- Ability to plan and coordinate the initiation and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of the fulfillment center
- Capability to lead a team and collaborate with fulfillment center leadership
- Building relationships with vendors to facilitate work within the fulfillment center
- Other tasks as assigned

- Effective communication with area supervisors and managers

COMPENSATION DESCRIPTION - The starting salary range for this position is between $75K-$85K
Salary may increase over time based on skill, responsibility level, additional duties, seniority, production quality, or other legitimate business-related factors.
Total Compensation includes Base Salary, Stock Options, Health and Wellness Benefits, and more.
