Key Responsibilities
  • Develop personalized plans of care for patients, incorporating specific and measurable goals, objectives, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with nursing and program staff to achieve therapeutic interventions and contribute to treatment planning.
  • Provide direction to nursing staff regarding activity-related groups and participate in treatment teams to inform patient goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreational, Music, or Art Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure or certification as required by state guidelines.
  • CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with a focus on chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
