Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate our CNC Plasma Cutting Machine. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks, including loading programs, swapping torch heads, handling cutting gas, and loading/unloading raw material as defined by shop work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the CNC Plasma Cutting Machine to cut various materials to precise specifications.
  • Load and unload raw material, as well as handle cutting gas and torch heads.
  • Monitor cut quality and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate with engineering to relay any necessary changes to nested programs and equipment set-ups for safe or optimized operation.
  • Communicate with shop supervisors and fabricators to ensure timely completion of parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience operating a CNC Plasma Burn Table, Oxy Acetylene Cutting Table, Water Jet or Laser Cutting Table or other similar systems required.
  • Experience using Hypertherm ProNest or similar CNC table software required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures and regulations.

Working Conditions:

The CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operator will be required to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform other physical demands as necessary.
