Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at IOC Company, LLC. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Project Management Department and coordinating construction activities for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage construction processes, including quality control, health and safety, and cost control.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Inspect the quality of work and ensure safety compliance according to industry standards.
  • Support the Project Manager with onsite control of field works, including quality, safety, and compliance of the design.
  • Prepare labor schedules and manage the ordering, receiving, and tracking of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Propose change orders and perform cost control of relevant activities.
  • Recommend solutions to design changes throughout the construction process.
  • Manage subcontractor scope of work respective to various contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent.
  • Zero to two years of experience on similar construction projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in highway or road construction is recommended.
  • Ability to influence and lead the assignment of others.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
