Key Responsibilities:A Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for both current and prospective bank customers on the banking floor. This role requires adaptability in managing workplace challenges, including customer service inquiries and complaints. The CSR must maintain the confidentiality of customer information, prioritize tasks effectively, and work collaboratively within a team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and a positive banking experience by professionally handling financial transactions, such as account openings.
- Identify customer needs and effectively communicate and promote products and services.
- Engage in branch outreach initiatives.
- Assist customers with various requests, including stop payments, wire transfers, balance inquiries, and loan information.
- Act as a liaison between customers and operational departments.
- Provide backup support to the teller line as necessary.
- Follow established policies and procedures while maintaining focus on tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls, and meet all training requirements promptly.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Branch and the Bank by assisting in achieving annual objectives.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of internal products and services.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Ability to think clearly and maintain focus.
- Comprehensive understanding of bank products and services.
- Consistently demonstrate the company’s core values: strong work ethic, integrity, respect, responsibility, transparency, and humility.
- Two years of experience in banking and/or customer service is typically required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Salary: USD $17.50 - $23.82 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
