About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our commercial real estate development company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, variance reports, and lender reporting packages in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Accounting and Compliance: Record monthly adjusting and accrual entries, update fixed asset systems, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Asset Management: Work closely with asset management and property management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Annual Audit and Tax Preparation: Assist in the annual audit and tax return preparation process.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the annual budget preparation process and provide financial forecasting support.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Experience: 3+ years of prior real estate accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Yardi software is a plus.
