Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Employee to join our team at Hajoca Corporation. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
Stock and maintain the warehouse, and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with 1 year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience. Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center is preferred. Our ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service and communication skills, be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center, and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. They will also be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers, and know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment. Additionally, they will be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center, and be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations. The candidate must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
