Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized care services, including personal hygiene assistance, grooming, and activities of daily living support, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Hospice RN and Clinical Team Leader, following assigned duties and instructions diligently.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all patient care, observations, and changes in condition, keeping the RN informed promptly.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with patients and their families during challenging times.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • State Certification as a Certified Nurse Aide from a Hawai'i-approved training program.
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing CNA services in a healthcare facility setting or equivalent.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a compassionate care team.
