Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse at Active Day, you will have the opportunity to provide person-centered care to our members in a supportive and loving environment. Our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our members, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and administer medication to members according to an individual plan of care, physician's orders, and emergent needs, and document clinical and progress notes on the member's medical record.
• Perform assessments and observe and monitor members' vital signs and responses to treatments and medications, reporting abnormalities to physicians.
• Coordinate care with other member care services, including Dietary, Pharmacy, Dental, Rehabilitation, Physical/Speech/Occupational Therapy, Audiology, and DME.
• Assist members with daily functional activities, including hygiene, meals, ambulation, arrivals and departures, and social activities.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• RN License, CPR certification, and valid malpractice insurance policy
• Min. one year full-time equivalent experience in a licensed healthcare facility.
• Prior experience working with the elderly and/or adults with disabilities strongly preferred.
