Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician III to join our team. As a Radiology Technician III, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols.
  • Function as the first line interface with customers and ensure their imaging needs are met.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
  • Assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Supervise Radiology staff in the absence.
  • Maintain department supplies.
  • Promote teamwork and good customer service.
  • Assist in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
  • Do scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintain supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications
  • Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by state and federal regulations.
  • National certification in three modalities or, if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in two modalities and leadership experience.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
  • One year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
  • Proficient computer skills.
