We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and investigating pertinent design factors on F-16 retrofit and production engineering design, 3-D models and drawings, including all related design data. They will identify design compatibility errors and verify that all features are of one interpretation, complete and adequate for downstream users.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and investigate design factors on F-16 retrofit and production engineering design
- Identify design compatibility errors and verify feature completeness
- Utilize working knowledge and application experience of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) based on ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices
- Work in a model-centric environment and be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite
- Collaborate with a fast-paced team to meet critical and tight schedules with quality results
- CATIA experience
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.100 Drawings and Y14.5 GD&T
- BS Degree in Engineering (mechanical, aeronautical, chemical, etc.)
