Job Summary

The Kroger Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to lead our front-end operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to facility's policies and procedures
  • Assign duties to workers and schedule shifts
  • Interview and hire applicants
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the operation of a department or establishment
  • Prepare required paperwork pertaining to departmental functions
  • Organize and coordinate the work of staff and convention personnel for meetings to be held at a particular facility
