Job Summary

Overview:

As a Café Cashier, you will perform cashier duties while being energetic and personable, providing warm welcomes and farewells to all guests. Your responsibilities will include conducting cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, making change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. You may also assist with general food service tasks and help maintain sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute sales transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Input all sales into the cash register to ensure accurate recording of purchases.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage cash refunds according to standard procedures.
  • Engage with customers and address any complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned cash funds and receipts, ensuring compliance with cash handling standards.
  • Monitor customer purchases and differentiate between standard portions.
  • Restock condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring cleanliness in service areas.
  • Keep pastry displays well-stocked.
  • Adhere to company service standards and inventory control procedures.
  • Comply with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
