About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating with patients, participants, and staff to accurately register patients for prescribed procedures and gather necessary demographic, insurance, and clinical information.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and enter patient information into relevant databases.
  • Schedule patient procedures efficiently, utilizing their time and clinical resources.
  • Coordinate and communicate schedules with staff.
  • Assist with insurance pre-certification/authorization coordination.
  • Provide counseling to patients, participants, or their representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
  • Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
  • No prior experience required, but relevant skills and training a plus.
