Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and adjust Press Brake machines to meet production requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of machine setters and fabricators, providing guidance and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Production Planning: Coordinate work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Training and Development: Conduct employee training in equipment operations, work procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Communication: Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers, and communicate production requirements and expectations to the team.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in setup, operation, or tending of Press Brake machines.
  • Experience in leading or supervising a team.
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
