About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team of associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations, including merchandising, customer service, and loss prevention.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer engagement.
  • Lead and motivate a team of associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement visual merchandising plans that drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Conduct regular associate performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a large team.
  • Previous volume responsibility of $5 million or more.
