We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of data and voice cables that connect residential television systems with home routers or other cabled devices.



This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work at heights in cramped and high-altitude spaces. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as a Cable Technician or similar role, with experience in installing complex internet and television equipment.



The Network Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for:




  • Installing televisions, cables, routers, and IT devices
  • Troubleshooting issues with the cable network
  • Repairing cable poles and towers
  • Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations
  • Completing paperwork such as timesheets, checklists, vehicle inspection reports, and service orders


Key requirements for the role include:




  • A high school diploma and cable installation training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in cramped and/or high-altitude spaces
  • Experience in installing complex internet and television equipment


The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
