Senior Network Infrastructure Professional

At TEKsystems, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Professional to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity, approximately 2 years, with a salary range of $1500 monthly per diem, plus $3k-6k quarterly production bonuses.
About the Role
As a Senior Network Infrastructure Professional, you will be responsible for splicing and activating network infrastructure, ensuring the full job scope is completed within the scheduled timeframe. This will involve setting up and balancing electronics to specifications, working within a team environment, and providing live plant training to new hires. You will also be responsible for basic daily maintenance of provided vehicles, safely operating bucket trucks, and completing daily production reports.
Key Responsibilities
* Splicing and activation of network infrastructure, including setting up and balancing electronics to specifications.
* Work within a team environment to ensure the full job scope is completed within the scheduled timeframe.
* Provide live plant training to new hires, monitoring their progress and ensuring they graduate on schedule.
* Perform basic daily maintenance of provided vehicles, including checking fluids, cleaning, and organizing.
* Safely operate and use bucket trucks to complete daily construction assignments, working potentially extended times on a ladder.
* Complete daily production reports, mark up maps, keep track of work hours, and complete as-built maps for areas built.
* Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to complete mechanical tasks such as coax splicing, reading meters, conducting tests, and performing troubleshooting measures to achieve plant level requirements. You will also need to be able to use computer-based programs required to support the activation and verification of electronic equipment installs.

Requirements and Qualifications
* Ability to complete mechanical tasks such as coax splicing, reading meters, conducting tests, and performing troubleshooting measures to achieve plant level requirements.
* Ability to use computer-based programs required to support the activation and verification of electronic equipment installs.
* Able to work in all-weather climates.
* Able to work at varying heights such as a bucket truck (max 40'), ground level at a pedestal, and in an underground vault.
* Able to work extended periods of time from a ladder.
* Able to lift 50-100lbs.
* Reach, push, pull, hold, grasp, and perform fine manipulation on cable and electronic equipment.
* Ability to use standard tools of the trade (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, strippers, crimpers, hammers, etc.) to route cable, connect cable, and install electronic equipment.
* Able to work evening, overnight, or weekends when needed.
* Ability to read and build from blueprints and/or wire diagrams.
* Able to distinguish colors.
* Sufficient visual and aural acuity to operate a variety of standard test and measurement equipment.
* Demonstrate support for excellent customer service.
* Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
* Able to work with limited supervision and completed work has low error rate or quality concerns.
* Experience conducting and providing training to less seasoned field positions (new hires, ground hands, or less experienced splicers).
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
* Possess a valid driver's license.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
