Job Title: Mobile Diesel Technician

Location: Corbin, KY

Shift: 3rd Shift

Schedule: FULLTIME; Sunday-Thursday 7:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.

Job Overview

As a Mobile Diesel Technician with Midwest Logistic Systems, you will work outside a shop, completing on-site maintenance on trucks and trailers. You will be supplied with a service truck stocked with specialty tools and parts to ensure efficient and correct work.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tire changes, electrical repairs, engine repairs, and welding jobs.
  • Complete inspections, diagnoses, and work estimations.
  • Communicate status updates to drivers and internal customers.
Requirements
  • Technical degree in diesel technology or related field, or a minimum of 2 years of diesel technician experience.
  • Valid driver's license and can meet DMV record standards.
  • Valid DOT medical card or able to attain it within 30 days.
  • Vehicle and Brake Inspector Certified.
  • Experience with computer systems.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
