Penske Technician Job Description

As a Diesel Technician at Penske, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are maintained and safe for customers. You will use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs. Your tasks will include vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles. You will work closely with the team to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and meet the company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engine vehicles
  • Use Penske's tools and technologies to log and research repairs
  • Complete vehicle component lubrication and replacement
  • Perform some electrical system repairs and cooling system maintenance


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in a diesel mechanic or automotive technician role
  • Knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
