Metropolitan State Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Norwalk, offering a wide range of services to the community.
Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I or designee, the incumbent will perform work of average difficulty in a variety of consultative and analytical functions, including identifying problems, conducting research, writing reports, and developing recommendations to management.
The successful candidate will assist with policy analysis, systems development, management, and personnel analysis, providing administrative support and information to the public.
Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis to identify problems and develop recommendations for management.
- Assist with policy analysis and development, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and efficient data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Equivalent to completion of the 12th grade.
- Four years of experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties.
- Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
The successful candidate will be required to follow current face covering guidance as issued by CDPH, and may be required to work in a variety of settings, including offices and clinical areas.
Special Requirements- The position requires a Background Investigation to be cleared prior to being hired.
- The position requires Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
