Role Summary: As an integral member of the North American Operations team, the North American Logistics Specialist III plays a crucial role in supporting the daily activities and functions of the department. This position involves close collaboration with a diverse team to ensure the implementation and maintenance of best practices, contributing to the organization's ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate effective communication and daily operations to cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and carriers, while supporting carrier development initiatives and projects.
  • Identify potential carriers through various online platforms and tools.
  • Conduct spot quoting for Drayage, FTL, LTL, and Project Cargo shipment opportunities, executing accepted loads efficiently.
  • Lead and manage a team of associates to achieve departmental objectives, while providing support for special projects within the organization.

Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for individuals who:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities, demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, effectively engaging with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and project management abilities, along with a knack for proposing innovative solutions to common challenges.
