Position Overview:
Graduate America is seeking experienced professionals to teach and train students in various career, technical, and workforce development programs. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in multiple fields and experience managing workforce or apprenticeship programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and train students in areas such as facility and multifamily maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Deliver structured lessons and practical training aligned with current industry standards.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through assessments, hands-on projects, and practical exams.
- Collaborate with program coordinators to align course delivery with workforce trends and ensure relevant outcomes.
- Mentor students with career guidance and assist in connecting them with internships, apprenticeships, or employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-disciplinary expertise in areas such as HVAC, electrical, and robotics.
- Experience in workforce development or apprenticeship program management is highly desirable.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as EPA Section 608 Certification, Texas Journeyman/Master License, and FAA Part 107 Certification.
- At least 1 year of industry experience in relevant fields.
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $25 – $45 per hour, based on field and expertise.
- Bonuses and Stipends: Additional annual stipends for high-demand roles.
- Adjunct-to-Full-Time Pathways: Instructors may transition to full-time roles as program needs grow.
