Job Description

The Physician Empire is seeking an experienced Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our team in a full-time ambulatory position.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated physician to provide high-quality care to our patients. The chosen candidate will work in a tertiary teaching hospital, affiliated with the UCONN School of Medicine, offering opportunities for growth and development.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing pediatric gastroenterology cases in an outpatient setting. Your strong clinical skills, combined with excellent communication and teaching abilities, will make you an invaluable asset to our division.

About the Division

The Division of Digestive Diseases, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the Physician Empire is a dynamic team of eleven faculty members and three APRNs working across multiple locations in the region. We prioritize collaboration and professional development, creating a supportive environment for our clinicians to thrive.

About the Location

Our practice is located approximately 25 miles from Springfield and within one hour's drive from Danbury. While Boston and New York City may be two hours away, we offer a unique blend of urban and suburban living, with easy access to amenities and attractions.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Excellent clinical, teaching, and communication skills

The Physician Empire offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits also include malpractice insurance, health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
