Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team at Emory University. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work plans to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Conduct research and gather information to develop various publications and promotional materials
  • Assist in developing and coordinating program-related conferences, conventions, and meetings
  • Monitor expenditures and participate in budget planning and financial reporting
  • Identify funding resources and develop fund-raising strategies and initiatives
  • Prepare operational and statistical reports
  • Conduct training and represent the program at meetings and conferences
  • Supervise assigned project staff, interns, and/or volunteers
Additional Responsibilities

The Program Coordinator will work closely with key stakeholders in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, including the Chair, Vice Chair for Faculty Engagement and Advancement, Faculty A&P Committee Chair, and Administrator. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison to the School of Medicine office of faculty development and will be the primary point of contact and concierge to faculty preparing appointment or promotion packets.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program
  • Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Prior experience in higher education, especially in the realm of faculty development, is strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Focused attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office apps and ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high standard of service excellence and support for others
  • A highly dedicated and reliable individual with a strong desire to learn, grow, and improve the organization
