Responsibilities
  • Implement Customized Care Plans: Implement customized care plans that encompass solutions to nurture the whole person in mind, body, and spirit.
  • Provide Impeccable Care: Provide impeccable care to clients by assisting in scheduled activities and overall care management.
  • Treat Clients Like Family: Treat clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life.
Requirements
  • Minimum One Year of Caregiving Experience: Minimum one year of caregiving experience.
  • Some Weekend Availability: Some weekend availability required.
  • Dementia Care Experience: Experience working with dementia patients.
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance: Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance required.
  • Experience Working in a Community Setting: Experience working in a community setting a plus.
  • Reliable Means of Transportation: Reliable means of transportation required.
  • Successful Completion of State Requirements: Successful completion of all state requirements and required state and company training.
  • Proof of Eligibility to Work in the United States: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States required.
  • Pass a Background Check: Pass a background check.
  • Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) Check: Pass an EMR check, as defined by Texas law.
  • Ability to Follow Written and Verbal Care Instructions: Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions.
  • Empathy for the Needs of the Client: Empathy for the needs of the client.
  • Treat Clients, Staff, and the Public with Courtesy, Respect, and Present a Positive Public Image: Treat clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and present a positive public image.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Security of the Client's Medical Information: Maintain confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.
Preferred Skills, Education, and Certifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA, if Applicable: Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA, if applicable.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification: CPR and first aid certification.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Have a Smartphone: Have a smartphone.
