Overview: A leading manufacturing client is seeking experienced technicians with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems to enhance their operational team. In this role, you will be tasked with conducting both preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of machinery, including pumps, valves, and conveyor systems. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and resolving any issues that may arise within the conveyor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a recognized trade program and certification as an apprentice in plumbing, electrical, or welding.
  • A.S. Degree in a technical field, military experience in a technical capacity, or relevant work experience is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a comparable position within a production setting, with experience in pipefitting being advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, with proficiency in both verbal and written English.
  • Computer literacy is required, with the ability to quickly learn company-specific software.
