Poultry Production Supervisor

As an Assistant Hatchery Manager at Perdue Farms, you will play a vital role in the success of our live production operations. We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee hatchery operations, ensure compliance with government regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and direct all associates within the hatchery, ensuring their safety and well-being
* Develop and implement safety programs, training, and protocols to prevent injuries and illnesses
* Maintain equipment, inventories, and supplies to optimize operational efficiency
* Collaborate with quality and production teams to achieve competitive CPMH (Cost Per Hundred Hatchable Eggs) goals
* Participate in Quality Improvement Programs (QIP) to drive continuous improvement
* Manage government reporting requirements, including Community Right to Know, EPA, and state and federal regulations
* Assist in budget planning and goal setting for cost areas to stay competitive with other hatcheries
Requirements:
* High School diploma; Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field preferred
* 0-3 years of experience in management, hatchery, or poultry operations
* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a wet, damp, dusty environment and exposed to temperatures ranging from 60°F to 105°F and humidity up to 100%
Benefits:
* Competitive salary range: $63,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
