Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with musculoskeletal problems and improving their mobility. Your main responsibility will be to improve children's motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, gait difficulties, heart and lung endurance, and delayed motor development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's movement difficulties and develop individualized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Use a variety of techniques, including functional training and exercise, to help children learn to move their bodies correctly and alleviate pain.
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage patient caseload and documentation using electronic medical record software.
  • Teach children and their families about safety and home exercises to promote continued progress and independence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapy program.
  • State licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per day.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
