We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at WM. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing complex preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of equipment, including trucks and yellow iron.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain equipment, including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front-end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars.
- Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
- Perform tasks per preventative maintenance checklist.
- Complete records, such as work orders, card files, P.M. checklists, and oil samples.
- Service and maintain other equipment, such as light plants, water pumps, welders, and other equipment.
- One (1) year prior Heavy Equipment diesel maintenance experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Skill in operating tools, equipment, parts, and procedures utilized during the repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment.
