Job Summary

We're seeking a Quality Systems Supervisor 2nd Shift to manage and support our food safety programs and food safety systems, including HACCP, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs.

The successful candidate will maintain the quality systems for the plant, ensure work instructions, SSOPs, procedures, and other pertinent documentation is up to date, and develop and adhere to Quality SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and support food safety programs and food safety systems, including HACCP, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs.
  2. Maintain the quality systems for the plant, including work instructions, SSOPs, procedures, and other pertinent documentation.
  3. Develop and adhere to Quality SOPs.
  4. Perform and/or participate in internal audits, ensuring compliance to internal quality policies and applicable local regulations.
  5. Support facility during inspections, customer audits, communications, and other interactions with regulatory agencies or customers.
  6. Participate in quality complaint investigations, verify corrective action completion, and continued conformance.
  7. Provide technical assistance to quality assurance and operations.
  8. Maintain and update product specifications, including customer specifications and raw material specifications.
  9. Ensure finished product and raw materials are tested per Kerry specification.
  10. Notify key stakeholders of identified issues and ensure proper communication.
  11. Support supervision of Quality staff, including laboratory management, training, maintenance of product and raw material quality records, and testing procedures.
Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of quality experience in a supervisor role within a food manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with quality management systems, GFSI audit standards, SSOPs, environmental hygiene programs, prerequisite programs, and HACCP.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP is also required.

A proactive, self-starter attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Compensation

The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually, based on several factors, including education, work experience, certifications, location, and more.
