Responsibilities- Operate a wheelchair van in compliance with all laws and regulations, adhering to safety rules and practices.
- Secure all passengers in the van according to Hospital Passenger Securement policy.
- Provide door-through-door pick-up and drop-off services for all customers.
- Map out efficient routes to and from specified destinations.
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
- Assist individuals or maneuver wheelchairs on and off the vehicle.
- Document required information per transport.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations.
- Ensure seat belts, hook-ups, and harnesses are in working order and secure on all mobility devices.
- Report any maintenance problems or accidents in writing.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous Customer Service experience.
- Previous driving experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
