Outpatient Primary Care Physician

We're seeking a dedicated physician to join our team in El Paso, TX. As a member of our Optum Care Delivery team, you'll have the clinical resources, data, and support of a global organization behind you. This is an opportunity to advance the health of your community, contribute to new practice ideas, and initiatives that can improve care for millions of patients across the country.
Key Highlights:- Quality-focused practice with a typical patient load of 14 to 16 patients per day (30 minutes per visit)
- Physicians are measured and rewarded on quality of care, with a bonus of $50,000 paid semi-annually
- Competitive benefits package, including 160 hours PTO in the first year, 5 days for CME, and 8 national holidays
- Strong clinical support team with NPs, PAs, RNs, LVNs, MAs, scribes, nurse educators, case managers, clinic administrators, referral managers, coders, centralized scheduling, nurse advice line, and robust IT
- Collaboration with primary care physicians, hospitalists, and a network of employed/contracted sub-specialists

Requirements:- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
- Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Texas or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
- A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
