CareNow is seeking a skilled X-ray Tech - LPRT to join our team. As a key member of our urgent care clinic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiology procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely and quality results for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians.
- Conduct quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment to maintain optimal performance and patient safety.
- Process specimens for reference laboratories and maintain accurate records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
- Ensure occupational clients' preference cards are followed and occupational procedures are adhered to, promoting a safe and respectful environment for patients.
- Assist with general patient care when needed, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional patient experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a degree from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
- Limited Practical Radiology Technician (RPT or LPRT) licensure is mandatory in the state of residency.
- One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial, with the ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
- Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within three months of employment or promotion.
