Fable Home Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Specialist to join our team. As a Personal Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on assistance to individuals with disabilities and older adults in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Personal Hygiene: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, and safe restroom use.
- Activities of Daily Living: Help with meal preparation, feeding, and mobility.
- Instrumental Activities of Daily Living: Assist with using the telephone, light housekeeping, and meal preparation and service.
- Other Duties: Respond to call lights, perform scheduled activities, and document care.
As a Personal Support Specialist, you will work in an assisted living environment as part of a clinical team. You will provide care according to an authorized plan of care, which may vary depending on the client and the work setting.
Requirements:- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to read, write, and follow directions.
- Have a PSS certificate or agree to complete training and obtain a certificate within six months of hire.
- Have a caring attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
