Responsibilities:
Operations & Staff Management


Oversee daily clinic operations and provide support for staffing schedules of healthcare providers, nursing staff, and patient service representatives.

Responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of qualified personnel.

Accountable for the hiring, evaluation, and professional development of assigned clinical and/or patient service representatives.


Provide leadership within the clinic environment to ensure effective and efficient office operations, enhancing performance and continuously improving care quality in a dynamic healthcare landscape.


Possess comprehensive knowledge and offer operational support for tasks and job functions within areas of responsibility, including protocols, processes, policies, and procedures.


Act as the first line of decision-making for employee relations matters; keep the appropriate clinic administrator/senior clinic administrator informed of all employee situations and collaborate on significant employee issues.


Balance team and individual responsibilities; remain open and receptive to others' perspectives; provide and welcome constructive feedback; contribute to team objectives; and prioritize team success over personal interests.

Adhere to protocols and policies in decision-making.

Identify and address daily operational challenges related to oversight responsibilities.

Seek guidance from the clinic administrator/senior clinic administrator as necessary.


Stay informed about clinic/department activities and organizational updates by attending meetings, reviewing communications, and regularly checking the organization's intranet.

Demonstrate initiative to enhance quality and customer service by striving to exceed expectations.


Foster a culture of innovation, learning, teamwork, and professional practice, in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Maintain consistent attendance at work.

Patient Care/Patient Education

Establish effective communication channels with staff, providers, and patients. Serve as a liaison among providers, patients, and leadership.

Take the lead in emergency situations to ensure the safety of staff, patients, visitors, and protected health information when feasible.Clinical Excellence

Support strategic initiatives as required.

Responsible for the accountability of departmental metrics.

Manage controllable expenses as assigned.

Provide information to assist in the budgeting process as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety and risk management guidelines.

Maintain adherence to personnel policies and procedures.

Monitor environmental conditions to protect health information.

Conduct oneself in accordance with all Corporate Compliance and HIPAA policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:
RN/LPN/CMA and current certification/licensure required.

Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience required.

Preferred degree in business or healthcare management.

Experience:
2-3 years of experience in clinic operations preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills.

Proficient computer skills.

Effective supervisory and leadership skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of personnel administration and patient relations principles.

Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.

Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Preferred knowledge and experience in process improvement.
