Job Overview

Cynet Health is seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team in Alamosa, CO. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing patient care to emergency department patients in accordance with established policies and procedures within the scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Admit patients to the emergency department, assess needs, identify problems, plan and implement emergency care, establish priorities of care, and evaluate care provided.
  • Carry out physician orders, review patient medication records, prepare, administer, and record medications and IV solutions.
  • Start and discontinue IVs.
  • Observe patient condition and vital signs, evaluate findings and record observations in the record; notify the physician of any adverse or abnormal findings promptly.
  • Administer routine, scheduled, and emergency treatments according to physician orders.
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians during the treatment and examination of patients.
  • Review and complete records and forms to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • IV certification upon hire.
