Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Telemetry Med/Surg

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UW Health at The American Center. As a Telemetry Med/Surg Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a collaborative and respectful environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based care to patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Work with cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practices to deliver exceptional care.
  • Floating to different units may be required based on staffing needs, including working with children up to 1 year of age.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
  • Experience in an Academic Level Trauma center or similar size hospital is required.
  • Traveler must have successfully completed a previous traveler assignment of 13 weeks.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.
  • Must have a nursing license from the state of residence or a compact license.
