Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical 4th Floor - Evening/Night Shift

Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UW Health East Madison Hospital. As a Medical Surgical Nurse on the 4th floor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced, 28-bed medical surgical unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to general care and select IMC patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team to develop, execute, and evaluate the multidisciplinary plan of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice changes.
  • Work in a collaborative environment, surrounded by state-of-the-art technology, evidence-based practice, and a strong interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
  • Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
  • WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
  • BLS certified through American Heart Association ONLY.
  • Basic Arrhythmia experience and ability to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to starting.

What We Offer:

  • 36 hours/week, Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts.
  • Weekend and holiday rotations may apply based on operational need.
  • Free parking onsite.
