Position Overview

The High School Principal at RMA Texas Public Schools is responsible for executing the organization's mission by overseeing the educational framework and managing the overall operations of the designated school. Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Master's Degree from an accredited institution is highly preferred, ideally with a concentration in education, administration, or curriculum development, alongside proficiency in the academic and administrative use of technology.

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of successful experience in teaching and supervisory roles is required.

Key Responsibilities:

The Principal will enhance the instructional program by:

  • Reviewing lesson plans and observing classroom activities.
  • Conducting staff conferences and analyzing student assessment data.
  • Collaborating with Central Office to design, implement, and assess the curriculum, ensuring the effective integration of Blended Learning and technology.
  • Leading professional development initiatives and overseeing Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies.
  • Managing special education data and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The Principal will foster a positive school environment by:

  • Utilizing data to maintain student enrollment and attendance.
  • Encouraging collaboration among staff, students, and parents.

Additionally, the Principal will handle:

  • Personnel management, including recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff, while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Budget management and facility oversight to maintain a safe and orderly school environment.
  • Community engagement through hosting meetings and collaborating with local organizations to support the school's objectives.

Furthermore, the Principal will pursue ongoing professional development, exemplify professionalism, and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of their role.
