**Job Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity to join Analog Devices as a Semi Packaging Engineering Specialist, where you will play a key role in conceptualizing and productizing semiconductor-based electronic devices that bridge real-world (analog) signals to (digital) cloud.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced IC packaging solutions, including design, material selection, qualification, and release-to-manufacturing for various product groups.
  • Perform component or system-level mechanical stress and thermal simulations to ensure the reliability and performance of our products.
  • Manage projects through the development of design iterations, substrate layout/simulation, assembly of prototypes, and qualification.
  • Document manufacturing process flows and control plans for IC packages at our external suppliers.
  • Work with quality and reliability groups to establish reliability criteria and qualification plans for various end applications.
  • Communicate complex engineering ideas to global teams in a clear and effective manner, rooted in engineering principles.

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical engineering or electrical engineering) is required.
  • Strong educational background in the fundamentals of materials and their mechanical behavior, with the ability to apply them in mechanical design.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) and FEA software ANSYS is essential.
  • Prior internship experience in semiconductor IC or electronics assembly is a distinct advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills, a learning mindset, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Candidates with up to 1 year of work experience after master's graduation are encouraged to apply.

**Travel Requirements**

Estimated required travel time is less than 10%.
