Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all plant operations, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in the production of donuts and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor operations to ensure conformance to financial objectives and make adjustments as needed.
  • Drive cost savings projects and establish relationships with plant management to prevent or resolve problems.
  • Provide clear expectations, training, and support to department staff and maintain a high level of accountability to achieve on-time, on-budget, and high-quality work.
  • Partner with accounting and leadership to ensure manufacturing efficiency and cost reduction through optimum utilization of resources and ongoing evaluation and improvement of methods and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal safety requirements for the production area and personnel.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement philosophy and practices, and ensure manufacturing strategy is aligned with overall plant strategy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with emphasis on management.
  • 6 years of experience in manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field, preferably in a GMP Food manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing people and leading multiple teams and/or departments.
  • Strong communication skills and financial acumen.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $70,000-$85,000 per year.
  • Bonus eligibility.
