We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team at Global Finishing Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating complex product designs, developing bills of materials, and providing support during installation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create concept, assembly, and detail drawings using CAD software
- Develop accurate bills of materials and prepare submittal and install print drawings packages for customers
- Provide support during installation processes and troubleshoot as needed
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop solutions to space and performance constraints
- Apply industry standards and quality control checks on all assembly drawings, detail drawings, and bills of material
- Train and mentor junior designers
Requirements:
- Associates degree with 2-5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical design; or a Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
