Director of Originations

Stonehenge Capital is seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our SBA lending platform as a Director of Originations - SBA 7(a) Lending. This role will be responsible for guiding small business owners through the SBA loan application process, evaluating their eligibility for SBA loan programs, and managing the loan application process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue opportunities to attract new clients and grow the company's SBA loan portfolio.
- Meet with potential borrowers to assess their financial needs, provide information on SBA loan programs, and determine their eligibility.
- Assist clients in completing SBA loan applications, ensuring that all required documentation is gathered and submitted accurately.
- Review financial statements, credit reports, and business plans to assess the viability and risk of loan applications.
- Advise clients on the best loan structure and terms based on their business needs and financial situation.
- Manage the loan application process, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring timely progress from application to approval.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of SBA 7(a) lending experience.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to conduct detailed analysis.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Ability to structure and present complex ideas in simple, persuasive written and oral forms.
